Kat Hayes is Head of Communications at Morris+Company, responsible for leading the practice’s communications strategy and overseeing all external and internal communications outputs.

Kat collaborates closely with the Directors, Heads of New Business and Culture, and the Studio Leads to deliver a cohesive, integrated, and strategically focused communications approach.

With a broad, 20+year background in architectural journalism, PR, and in-house strategy, she has worked with award-winning architecture practices of all scales, alongside cultural institutions, and organisations across related design disciplines. 

Kat also brings experience from the real estate sector, having worked within a specialist capital raising team working across the UK, Europe, and the US at early stages of the development cycle.

Outside of the architecture, Kat is an exhibiting visual artist and painter, with a keen interest and enthusiasm for contemporary art.
